So I know it's been a long time but for those who do not know let me bring you up to speed.... I am one half of a group called MAGr originally hailing from Camden, NJ (check google for info) and we were working on releasing this album for 2 years lol. It is finally out and "FREE!!!!" so grab the album listen to it and post it wherever you can so people get some good music to listen to on their daily commute, or just jogging, or breast feeding a baby. It's a good time.

2 weeks ago I had the chance to rock a show in NYC with a brother by the name of Hasan Salaam. If you don't know who he is, do some homework lol. This was the first time I was having a serious convo with someone signing autographs lol. Dope guy indeed. Here is a small piece of what he is about...

Indeed. I first met Dec in NYC at the Knitting Factory when I featured with Mike Slott for a bonkers set. At that time he was in Brooklyn (and also chatting to one of the hottest spanish chicks I had seen in a while lol). He has since moved back overseas and now stays in Manchester. So yeah guess what peeps.......I have a new computer!!!!!!!!!
You know what that means.....problems for everyone!!!!!!!!!!

This past weekend was the illest in a long time. I got to meet some wonderful new people. I got to build more with past friends. I also got to make some wonderful music and eat some good food too. NYC was the dopest trip I have taken in a while. I haven't pretty much spent any time in Manhattan since I was born there. Brooklyn looks nothing like it used too man...Where are the black folks lol....it was a dope trip...Biggups to Declord for the hospitality and fun times...Biggups to Mike Slott and Lady Diane for showing love as usual.....Peace to Jess for the meetup too. If Scotland's LuckyMe collective is a little hard to define, that's only because they want to be. The group counts about twelve or so members, mostly beatmakers along with a few emcees and guest vocalists, who throw THE BALLER$ 5OCIAL CLUB monthly party at Glasgow School of Art. They broadcast a monthly radio show on Samurai.fm, have their hands on a couple streetwear and design projects, and are now becoming a label to release "slabs of the crew's most leftfield and obscure works." That doesn't mean they don't work with other labels -Hudson Mohawke is signed with Warp Records and the young rising star Rustieworks with Ramp and Hyperdub - but anything LuckyMe wants to do, it does. So, if it's hard to put your finger on what exactly Lucky Me is, that's only because they've made it that way.

This mix, put together by The Blessings (a.k.a. Dom Sum & FineArt), is every bit as hard to describe as the group themselves. The 22 tracks flow from Scotland-repping mid-tempo verses to ass-shaking instrumental bangers followed by glitched out abstractions and some hot diva wailing. We're expecting a whole lot more from this crew soon, but listening to these tracks it's easy to hear the future right now. Wyatt Williams

On May 25th 2008 we lost another talented artist. CamuTao of MHZ,Weathermen,Def Jux, SA Smash fame died of complications from his ongoing struggle with cancer. He will surely be missed. After all these years OJ Simpson finally admits to killing Nicole Simpson. The wierd part is that he was high and drunk when this happened. This is the funny part for me. This is the Juice, you are telling me that after all these years he got high this time and admitted it??? He hasnt gotten high or drunk lately??? It's The Juice!!! If I had the issues he had I would be on something all the time! Maybe this is the first time anyone else admitted the guy did it. This is not right people. Stop holding back the truth! First off I wanna say thanx to everyone who's been showing support for myself, my group (MAGr), the label we are on (All City Dublin) my people (Jay Scarlett, Kissey Asplund, Mike Slott, Hudson Mohawke, Clean Guns, 2ew Gunn Ciz, Knowledge, Reggie B, Yadibox Fam, DJ Junior, Miss Amina James) and my newest connects as well (Sepalot, RLP, Le N?ko, Snowman). I believe all the peeps I mentioned appreciate all the love and you better believe that we are working hard daily to bring some good music to all of you for real. I just wanted to take the time out of my day to let everyone know that :). Also

First off if you missed it last night, there was a duel album release party for my people Nico the Beast, and Reef the Lost Cauze. Talk about a good time. There was action and adventure and shirts taken off lol. A very good time, and you better believe that we rocked on stage beside Nico as well as some other friends ( Slim DSM, Triple Nickels, 2ew Gunn Ciz) It was packed in there man so sometimes we had to just play the wall:

The busride kicked in and everything sounded swedish from that point. I just chilled out casually and enjoyed the crispety crunchety peanut buttery taste of a butterfinger (As endorsed by Bart Simpson lol - private joke) Anywho, Junior is the illest host on the planet, Lil' Dave is the illest co host on the planet, and Avantia is quite possible the hottest assistant on the planet :) Plus Kissey has swag lol

This is FLStudio 8

Most people are not aware of this but, FLStudio (formerly fruityloops) has been creating its name in music production software for a long time. Most people were not even aware of it until they heard 9th Wonder (Little Brother) used it on the Jay-Z song "Threat". You better do your homework. This is one of the few programs that actually contains everything you need right inside. Version 8 is sick, and if you are like me, you bought this software a few versions back online, and because of this you have free lifetime updates :). so go get it already!!!
"P.S.: you can now create your own effects and synthesizers from scratch without having to code it right in FlStudio now!!!"

Upcoming things

Magr has been busy man for real.

Just came back from San Diego (which is beautiful by the way) and got alot accomplished. Also attended a producers conference in Phoenix (Peace to 2ew Gunn Ciz) which was banananannanaannaaaaas. Got back home and became all depressed due to the sucky weather, but all is cool. We have 3 shows setup, one of them being a show with Buckshot of Black Moon at Club Polaris in Philly on May 8th. Cranking more tunes out and getting ready to have a 12" released through a label in Dublin Ireland named All City (Peace to Olan). So yeah, gonna get back to work but I will keep ya'll posted
